In my spare time, I love to read, especially historical books, and playing the piano has also been a lifelong passion.

I’m an Account Executive who has been with Shamir Insight for the past 13 years, working in the North Carolina area. With 45 years of experience in optical sales, I still love the challenges of closing the sale and building customer relations. I live by the motto, “Your reputation is all that you have in sales.” It has been my honor to win multiple President’s Club awards with Shamir and previous companies. Prior to working in the optical field, I earned a B.A. in history from North Carolina State University. A competent toastmaster, I am a past president of the Oak Ridge Lions Club, and have served on the boards of Durham Tech and the non-profit Prevent Blindness North Carolina.
