Having chosen this industry after more than a decade in the medical diagnostic field, I went back to school for a degree in ophthalmic science from Camden County College in 1996. Since then, I have been a dispensing optician and manager in many contexts, including retail, small independent optical and optometric practices, as well as ophthalmology settings.
