Joe Johnston

I’m an Account Executive for the Missouri and southern Illinois areas, and have been with Shamir Insight for five years. Having started my optical career over twenty years ago in a finishing lab, I became a dispenser, manager and trainer for both private practice and corporate retail optical, and worked for several lens manufacturers as a lens consultant, sales consultant and account executive.
Prior to that, I earned a B.S. in sales and marketing from Southeast Missouri State University with minors in psychology and art. As an ABO/NCLE-certified partner, educator and problem-solver, I enjoy all aspects of my job, especially helping my customers be successful.
