Drew Paul

Drew Paul is an ABO certified lecturer in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an Account Executive Shamir Insight.  Born and raised in Connecticut, Drew attended Northeastern University where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Management. After a number of sales positions, and an interest in optics that developed while working as an optical laboratory technician during college, Drew enrolled at City Tech where he graduated as the Valedictorian of his class in Ophthalmic Dispensing. In addition to being awarded the Ophthalmic Dispensing Honor Award, Drew was also the President of the Student Optical Society. After City Tech, Drew joined Shamir Insight where he was a member of the Gold Club in his first year and given the Rookie Achievement Award. He is currently licensed in New York State in ophthalmic dispensing along with contact lens fitting allowing Drew to work hands on with many of his clients. Drew is currently serving on Sharmir’s education committee to redesign Shamir’s Basic and Advanced Optics Curriculum. Dew remains passionate in his dedication to education and teaching, and his commitment to his clients and colleagues.
